We have an unbeatable selection as well as talented designers to help you get the perfect fit.
Materials and Styles
Granite and Marble
Sometimes nature does beauty best and if it’s natural beauty you’re looking for, then a natural stone countertop is what you’ll want. Granite is the most popular of the natural stones because of its extreme durability and unmistakably beautiful patterns. Granite, like most natural stone, is porous and will need sealing.
Also referred to by popular brand names like Formica and Wilsonart, Laminate is composed of layers of paper fused together with a resin at high heats and is available in an astonishing variety of colors and patterns. Hi-Def options are available for a more realistic look as well. Laminate is affordable and comparatively durable, a great addition to any kitchen on a budget.
Quartz / Engineered Stone
We’re famous for our selection of unique Katahdin Quartz countertops. Engineered quartz countertops mesh beauty and durability together. Combining 95% crushed quartz with a bonding polymer brings you a product that is beautiful, sanitary, and almost completely maintenance free. Because of the man-made element, these countertops are available in a large array of colors and patterns, and can even mimic natural stone.
More understated than granite and marble, slate makes a statement without being the center of attention. In addition to its subtle beauty, slate is exceedingly durable holding up to heat, stains, and scratches better than most and is a non-porous material, meaning it needs less maintenance than granite or marble to boot. Beautiful, durable, and easy-to-clean slate is a solid contender for any kitchen or bath makeover.
Soapstone, much like slate, is a less common material with a quiet beauty to it. No two pieces of soap stone are the same and depending on the quarry, you can get soft shades of black, gray, brown, green, red, or blue in your piece. Of the natural stones, soapstone is the softest of the bunch, but its exceptional workability means the blemishes acquired over time can be easily buffed out right at home, extending the life and beauty of your countertop.
Made by popular brands like DuPont, Wilsonart, Avonite and many more, these countertops have some of the best durability out of any worktop material. Crafted by fusing resin and natural minerals together, solid surface countertops can be crafted into almost any design you can imagine. Unbeatably customizable, impact-resistant, and non-porous, solid surface countertops can easily be a great addition to a kitchen or bath.
From delicate mesquite face grain to heavy duty maple butcher blocks, wood countertops have a wide variety of appearances. Wood countertops will require more maintenance than the natural stone or solid surface countertops, but they also bring a warmth and a beauty none of the other options can match. In addition, wood counter tops can be an eco-friendly option when crafted from responsibly harvested or reclaimed wood.
